Any suggestion that she might not be perfect thus becomes evil and is not just rejected out of hand, but the person who spoke becomes an enemy.
How is this different from the right-wing's behavior, and intellectual vacuum, when their icons, such as Trump, are criticized?
It's no different.
CBS, Saturday evening: "After asking for volunteers to drive trucks due to a shortage of drivers, the governor watched today as truckers pulled out of gates at the port of San Juan, hauling supplies to grocery stores around the island. More than 50 percent of gas stations are back up and running. Home phone service has been restored to 30 percent of the island, and 10,000 people are still living in shelters.
That's out of a population of 3.4 million.
USA Today, 8:14 this morning: "In Old San Juan, signs that the capital city's historic district is slowly coming back to life began to emerge Saturday, with people walking through the narrow, brick roads and cars lining the streets. Many restaurants in the district were open -- with limited menus -- and a drug store and a grocery store, both still without power, were open for business."
Money.CNN: The Department of Defense said Saturday that 62 of Puerto Rico's 69 hospitals have been assessed, though only one is fully operational. It added that 55% are partially open and at least five are shut down.
I heard better numbers for the hospitals on TV today, more than that 55% substantially up but not all services restored.
These numbers are undoubtedly improved by now, after another full day of impending genocide. The recorded death count is still at 16, but of course will rise substantially into the dozens, perhaps hundreds.

I believe he's talking to his base at the instigation of those who whisper in his ears.

Even if you do not have a "death" count, you should have an accurate "missing" count with names
