(3,517 posts)Of course, comparing living in an isolated rural area versus living in a large urban area with world class teaching Hospitals and Universities is not a fair one, but we already had most of the provisions of O care a long time ago.and programs to insure people like your sister that were much better than medicare. You couldn't pay me enough to live in any of the former slave states even though I love visiting there, playing there, and meet wonderful people there. Quite simply, they are third world countries run by a corrupt oligarchy for the benwfit of the wealthy. Texas is one of the worst. The bottom quintile pays a higher tax rate than the top one.I had the displeasure of doing business with a mrtgage servicing company in Texas recently. They continually lied and broke the law. Never even heard back from their paid off AG. Took the Minnesota AG's office to get them moving. This is the Republican dream. Everything exxpendable to capital.
