The pain I know you have, Jill. The only good thing to say about a debilitating illness is that you have more time to say goodbye.

I had two Type 1 diabetic sisters, ages 9 and 12 when diagnosed. They/we were so fortunate they made it into their 50's. Without Medicaid and Medicare to pay literally millions of dollars in healthcare costs over the years, that would have never happened.
