3. Me to to the above. I'm afraid it's why I check the news

constantly -- to see if we're still here. I feel like I've been living that scene in Wim Wenders' "Til the End of the World" (I think that's the title) where there's been some sort of nuclear bomb that went off and all the modern communication has been lost, so they're trying to find out if anyone else is left on planet earth by using an old fashioned ham radio. Eventually they discover they're not alone. That's what I feel like every morning.
