HRC: International Womens Forum & Leadership Foundation 2017 International Hall of Fame Inductee [View all]

Each year, IWF/LF honors women who have set groundbreaking precedents through their work and example. As an attorney and advocate, former First Lady, U.S. Senator, Secretary of State, and as the first woman to win a major party nomination for President of the United States, Secretary Clinton is a constant catalyst for change. She is a member of IWF Arkansas.

“Secretary Clinton has repeatedly redefined views on what women can achieve. Over the arc of her distinguished career, she has used her voice and influence to advance the status of women and girls everywhere,” said IWF President Teresa Weintraub.

“As an International Hall of Fame inductee, Secretary Clinton will join an impressive list of women luminaries from around the world who share a record of astounding accomplishment,” added Weintraub. “These women are pioneers in their fields who span continents and viewpoints but are united by their commitment to championing women leaders.”

In previous years, International Hall of Fame inductees have included:

Rosa Parks, American Civil Rights Activist
Wangari Maathai, Nobel Laureate & Environmental Activist
Audrey Hepburn, Humanitarian & Actress
The Honorable Mary Robinson, Former President of Ireland
Betty Friedan, Author & Feminist Leader
