But you are right, especially back then. My daughter is 22 and has been out of highschool 4 years.. When she was in 6th grade, 10 years ago, I was her cheerleading sponsor for the youth team. The next year she quit that, but kept me informed on what the other little girls were doing. One of them had gotten pregnant in 7th grade which I think would have made her 13. Another one got pregnant the next year at 14. It was shocking to me, but that happens. My own aunt got married to her first husband at 14 in the early 70's. Pretty sad.
