4. and what happens when you leave or company policy changes?

A voice at work is important - even if there is no big grievance or ongoing injustice. And then there's the little matter of power ... which in the end, is always important.

There are plenty of unionized workplaces where the company and the workers are not at each others throats. Still, the vast majority of those workers still choose union. There are very good reasons for that.

Nor is bad treatment or gross injustice the only reason that workers ever look to organize.
