He immediately did the right thing in firing the staffers. Major props from me. Can't think of anything else he could have done better.

But fundamentally, keeping this story alive, trying to somehow make the temporary permissions screwup into a conspiracy theory instead of a simple mistake, well if Senator Sanders wants to go down that road, I guarantee you that there are Clinton staffers who are privately chortling over what it says about his temperament.

It may very well be true DWS is a bit too partisan for Hillary (while some of her vice-chairs are Bernie supporters). But it's even more obvious that she doesn't know a PC from a Mac, and the idea that she's planted people, or Made The Bernie Staffer Breakin Happen On Purpose, is so out there in kook land, it's like the final nail in the coffin for his campaign, no matter what happens in Iowa or New Hampshire.
