99. If Bernie could educate and direct those motivated by anger

instead of civic responsibility, it'd be great. But the people we're talking about are always part of the problems and usually in the way of the solutions. He wants their anger to add energy to his forward momentum, but then what? He can't direct these barn-burners' thoughts and he cannot control them.

Very few, almost none, could be considered liberal, or even progressive by nature, but this independent who's always despised the Democratic Party wants to draw large numbers of reactionary troublemakers who despise cooperation, including large numbers of bigots, into the Democrats' camp?

All across the nation the GOP is continuing to hemorrhage voters because they're fed up with the behaviors of those who substitute mindless resentment for thought. It's absolutely not in our interest to have those they reject damaging our reputation and electoral prospects instead of the GOP's.
