...but at some point it just gets to be a very very long wait, and I suppose, having watched Reagan beat Carter, and plenty of other disillusionments, I don't have as much confidence in the likelihood of a "turn to the left" from the party, which would require a turn to the left of the country. I'll certainly vote for it whenever given the opportunity, but for the most part the Democratic party platform represents my position on the issues well.
