Posters are attacked with Ad Hominem attacks in lieu of actually discussing issues. If anyone disagrees, they get attacked with attempts to get them to shut up or leave.

The SCOTUS decision to give the presidency to Bush was a great example of how we no longer live in a democracy. The authoritarians among us are ok with that because living in a democracy is tough. Letting a tough leader do the thinking is so much easier.

I would question the judgement of those that acquiesce and bow down to a tough authoritarian leader.

Definition of authoritarian (does this sound familiar?):

1. of, relating to, or favoring blind submission to authority;

2. of, relating to, or favoring a concentration of power in a leader or an elite

(Merriam-Webster.com)
