3. Very counterproductive to their cause

As a liberal Jew, I find this alienating. If the Palestinians widely recognized Israel's right to exist, I would feel differently. Very complex issues. Genocide is vitriolic. It is a term the U.N. uses only in the most extreme circumstances.
This seems anti-Semitic to me.
