(7,220 posts)I would be inclined to agree with the Alzheimer's/Dementia theory, except the bad behavior only comes out when he doesn't get his way.
The Saudi's met him on the tarmac and immediately presented him with an award just for showing up (like the entitled brat he is). Never mind that they were buttering him up for their own gain, they know he falls for it every time. So do the Russians.
The Europeans have different expectations. They don't give him accolades. They know what's at stake, and they know he isn't up to the task. They expect him to act with respect and collaboration. So when he doesn't get the slobbering praise he thinks he deserves, he acts like a high school bully, shoving heads of state and calling people names. And lecturing NATO members for (oh irony of ironies), not paying their bills.
