I am a big fan of solar and wind, but I do have one question.
Do we have enough resources to make the amount of batteries needed? Is there some other way to store the energy besides batteries?

If you google home energy storage you'll see that Solar City has a lithium ion system available now.

It can also be stored as compressed air, water pumped to a height, in a heated or chilled solution..
