4. So sad. He was a great pitcher. I remember the first time I saw him pitching.

It was 1998, the year of the McGuire/Sosa home run record chase. He was pitching on the last day of the season. He lost a no hitter in the 9th inning. That was his first year in the majors. He would have been pitching a perfect game--and not been facing the 28th batter who ultimately broke the no-hitter up--had it not been for an error by Jose Cansceco.

RIP Roy.
