9. I really don't get why they wouldn't be

I understand there are probably sources that need to be protected so there will be redactions but how exactly could congress be prevented from releasing whatever he reports? Even if the president were to classify it there has to be reasoning behind that and if there isn't congress I assume can override the classificaiton using the FOIA couldn't they?

This is wha worries me about congress no matter which party is in charged, they just keep falling in love with keeping things secret that shouldn't be. I'm not asking for the names of spies or even if they exist and how they got the data but shouldn't it be possible to write a report that doesn't give any of that away?
