5. One thing strange about that tweet is the silly attempt to diminish Mitt Romney

While it is true that he is a freshman Senator, he also was a Governor and the party's Presidential nominee. His stature in the the Senate may be mostly defined by seniority - which he has none of - but his stature in the country is a function of everything in his past. This would be as if a DNC head would have called Hillary Clinton an incoming freshman Senator in January 2001 without giving her name if she questioned a top Democrat. While technically true, neither were/are your average "freshman Senator".
