If people want to buy stuff on top of that no one would stop them. I’m sure there will continue to be providers who opt to only receive private cash payments, for instance.

I’m sure Harris will get to address this thoroughly a number of times during the campaign. While I can understand being open to alternatives, there’s no substitute to making comprehensive health care a universal right not contingent on personal payment.
