...in Germany and Italy during the rise of Fascism! Folks who were nice, decent, and friendly...had families, raised their children, etc.

The key is that those folks were like your sister-in-law, they just didn't understand why some people were not happy with the leaders of those groups either, and in time they just lined up behind them because it wasn't that bad!

People like your brother and his wife are a much bigger threat, then the cultists...because they don't take a stand now and won't later.
