45. Question 16 of same poll contradicts question 20

I agree it's a very poorly worded question. Question #16 was "How much trust do you have in Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his investigation to be fair and accurate--a lot of trust, some trust, little or no trust". 54% answered a lot of trust or some trust. 35% had little or no trust. (9% undecided). That doesn't jive with 50% thinking it's a witch hunt.

Question #20 asks 2 completely different questions IMO. Should be "do you think the special counsel investigation is a witch hunt?" and "has Trump been subjected to more investigations than previous presidents because of politics".

I bet on the second part of question #20, many people didn't even hear/read the "...because of politics". I didn't register that part myself until posting my reply. I read the question more than once and my answer was "yes" because I only registered "has he been subjected to more investigations than previous presidents". Hell yes, I thought. Then I saw the "because of politics".

So, horribly worded question. I can see why it got a 50% yes.
