If this were a "run of the mill case," we wouldn't be discussing it, so I'm not really understanding your ire on that score. This isn't a "run of the mill case," and the question is, was he producing "art" or "an opinion" or was he crafting a deliberate and targeted incitement to riot?
At the end of the day, though, that question might not ever be answered. Probation violation can put him back behind bars, all by itself, no need for a trial. His probation said--plainly--no more "aliases," and don't use the computer without the permission of the probation officer.
He violated probation on those two points. Game, set, match.
