(135,425 posts)First, "all glbt" aren't inciting others to violence with a film that is deliberately insulting, and "all glbt" aren't Egyptian. They also aren't doing anything ILLEGAL under US law. This clown WAS doing something illegal under US law--he was breaking his probation by using an alias and using the internet without the specific permission of his probation officer.
Does this guy retain his Egyptian citizenship? That's a question worth answering. Do we continue to have a valid extradition agreement with this new government in Egypt? And most importantly, do the Egyptians have a valid complaint in support of extradition and are they even asking for such a thing?
He won't go anywhere (save jail for probation violation--something he DID do) unless those questions are answered to the satisfaction of US authorities.
