In reply to the discussion: Trump cheated on his SATs by paying someone to take it for him, according to Mary Trump's new book [View all]markwbradley
(20 posts)If one habitually cheats in one aspect of his or her life, it tends to bleed over into other parts. Speaking as a former member of my high school golf team, I had occasion to witness this sort of cheating behavior from other players, whether it was moving their ball from the rough into the fairway when they thought no one was looking, taking multiple mulligans (some even on the fairway as well as off the tee), or picking up their golf ball from the green, 13 feet away from the cup, and calling it a gimme. To fellow teammates (or even other members of a friendly foursome), watching someone repeatedly indulge in these sorts of unfair advantages tends to breed contempt on the part of ones fellows.
According to several high-profile celebrity golfers who have had the pleasure of golfing with President Trump, he regularly employs each of these shady tactics (as well as countless others), to enhance his score, and thereby beat (at all costs) his opponents.
Cheat at golf, cheat on your SATs. Cheat in business, cheat on your wives. Duplicity can be a powerful tool (or should I say weapon?) in the hands of a sociopath like The Donald. But it never works forever. Eventually, the bill comes due. Prepare to pay up, Donny Boy.
