Nor was it ideal the last two times that it happened. But the first one took five months to iron out... and the second took several weeks... and now the Senate is up and running much quicker than that. Biden's agenda can proceed without that delay.
It doesn't mean that we'll win every battle... but at least they'll take place.

It gets the prior/holdover committee chairs out, they become D's. That's not insignificant.
