7. i really don't understand those people in the medical profession--especially doctors and nurses

(and especially those doctors & nurses who have worked with covid patients) who just fucking refuse to get vaccinated.

months ago my friend got his first shot in a chicago hospital--indoors and seated in a line up of people waiting for their vaccines. the nurse who was moving the line along, having them move up and then go into the area where they were vaccinated -- she wasn't wearing a fucking mask! and i'm sure my friend wasn't the only person freaked out by this because everyone waiting for their shot was masked

do these people not really give a shit about medicine, medical science, and healthcare? do they only have the job because they need the money or it's just a step on the way toward the career they really want (such as playing guitar in a band, or designing shoes, or selling their artwork at a gallery)?
