(99 posts)Sure the man was definitely wrong in trying to run over pedestrians because he had anger issues. But the people who beat him to death also have anger issues. When a person is beaten to death there is lots of blood. I cannot fathom hitting, kicking, punching, stomping someone until they die - even if he did try to run over me.
Nothing wrong with them yanking him out of the car and holding him until police arrive, which I think they should have done. They were a lawless mob.
We, as a society, are teaching our children to be lawless as well. Look at the political climate. Folks are ignoring subpoenas! And nothing is going to be done about it. I cannot wrap my head around this fact. There was a time when a subpoena meant you were summoned and you had to go or you would sit in jail until you complied. It was just that simple. That is the law of the land. Well, it used to be the law of the land. Now a subpoena doesn't mean anything. Folks will go on national TV and say, "I'm ignoring it." This is what are children are learning now about the law of the land. It means nothing.
