It's not like Norway's laws and culture can't produce a mass shooting matching (or exceeding) anything in America, so whatever point you're trying to make with this hypothetical, you didn't.

Meanwhile this is a story about violence in Norway, not a story about violence in America, and you're under no requirement to minimize it by suggesting it would be worse in America.
