Ammon Bundy, a far-right activist who’s running to become Idaho’s next governor as an independent, was arrested in the early hours of Saturday for allegedly refusing to leave a hospital, police said.

According to the Meridian Police Department, Bundy was among a group of people who showed up at St. Luke’s Meridian Medical Center and refused to leave the property.

Bundy, the leader of the People’s Rights movement, was arrested just after 1 a.m. Saturday morning on misdemeanor charges. He was booked into the Ada County Jail.

The latest arrest concerned a 10-month-old baby who had been admitted to the hospital on March 1 suffering from severe malnourishment.
