Los Angeles County is expected to hit the thresholds for bringing back restrictions tomorrow, maybe thursday.

Then, two weeks later they'll actually bring back mask mandates and other restrictions.

Does that delay make any sense?

Why not put the restrictions in automatically when the threshold is crossed and keep them in place for a minimum of two weeks?
