Our oil addiction has allowed us to learn a lot very quickly. Some of which we can continue to use without a significant carbon footprint. Some of which we can't. Being faced with extinction, Im ok with that.
With a better diet, a cleaner environment and a less stressed life, theyll be far less need for those fancy machines we built by burning so much oil.
We can all live with things just a little bit slower
