30. There Was Extensive Coverage On WNYC Regarding The Crackdown In NYC

The NPR coverage at the time seemed to be largely in support of the crackdown in NYC.

NYC did give folks a heads up regarding their intent towards a crackdown, including seizing, fining, and destroying 2 Wheeled transportation not properly licensed or unlawfully operated.

D.C. residents got no such warning to the best of my knowledge.
