36. Brainwashing that "open borders" were allowing hordes of criminals into the US worked for Trump

Many Trump voters are focused on this one policy. Now at least some are realizing that Trump's solutions are extreme, but the idea that he effectively closed the "open borders" is an issue that is still motivating many of his voters. That needs to be challenged effectively-- first that only a very small percentage of undocumented immigrants were serious criminals and second most deportations and arrests that occurred have not been of serious criminals.
