So the most petite group would be Asian females, if you have to look at the two numerically largest groups in Australia.

There's semantic overlap, with "petite" making the meaning of "Asian" a bit more specific. It's not language, it's not skin tone, it's not tooth shape or hair cross section, it's size.

Just like in "cold, refreshing beer." "Cold" doesn't have to mean "refreshing." Things can be "refreshing" without being "cold." But them together and you narrow the meaning of both.
