189. Who says I have no compassion for her? My post was not about the young lady

who was so violated and disrepected. More than enough people posted on that subject to cover it thoroughly.

I commented on another aspect this situation which did not offer the boys much compassion at all. I pointed out that they are facing consequenses is just, and it is. I also pointed out that they are young enough to make changes in their lives and that the judge's ruling left their futures in their hands. Which is also just.

Personally, I don't think the investigation went far enough. Someone or someones supplied those kids with alcohol. That should have been looked into and charges filed, if warranted.

As for develoopmentally disabled people being sentenced for crimes that they were not able to understand more harshly than those who knowingly broke the law, it happens all the time and no one has compassion or advocates for them. And it is people who chose not to look at all sides of the issues.
