(2,983 posts)is not scapegoating. Bloomberg has done these things - supported Citizens United, encouraged and supported brutal police tactics, dismantling programs that help the most unfortunate of us.
I don't need a scapegoat, I increasingly find that it is very simple to find despicable people who do despicable t, things that greatly contribute to the evils of our society overall. What has this man accomplished that makes you so adore him? I see authoritarian beliefs and practices, I see another rich man shitting all over the poor and working class. I see a man who wants to promote and enforce authoritarian legislation that will not apply to him. Do you think those traffic cameras would hold Bloomberg responsible if his driver went too fast?
Hiding cigarettes behind curtains... banning large sugary drinks, attempting to demonize anyone who disagrees with his authoritarian point of view.
I'm all for educating about the dangers of obesity. I'm not for letting a billionaire tell us what we can eat or drink. I'm not for giving more powerful tools to a police force already absurdly corrupt and violent.
