you have more of a problem with drunk driving rather than the high speed limits. In case you didn't know Drunk Drivers usually don't refer to the "speed limit" and "rules of the road" when they decide to get behind the wheel drunk. I live in Texas, and I am all for the speed limit increase, there hasn't been any increase in fatalities, or wrecks as everyone has predicted, and the speed limit increases are on roads that are long, flat, and straight. Those are pretty safe to drive on. Here, you only go 85 in the left lane, if you do not feel comfortable going that fast there are slower lanes on the right...we don't seem to have all the issues everyone thought we would have.
