Doing well on the LSAT and even the bar exam is not necessarily an indication of intelligence. I improved my LSAT scores by taking a quality prep course and was in the top 98% when I took the state bar exam because I mastered the art of the multi-state exam.

Admission to Harvard is arguably more than good LSAT scores. They look for aptitude based on LSAT, educational performance, etc. but they also look for personal qualities that will enhance the institution's reputation.

Cruz is reasonably intelligent but cunning, obsessed with self-grandeur and a pathology of reasoning likely refracted through a misguided religious fervor.

He is indeed very dangerous. Cruz makes GWB look like a babe in swaddling clothes. We must be very wary of him and be constantly on guard.
