2. I got sick on cottage cheese once, it is no fun.

It was a "fresh" unopened container that had a full month before the expiration date. I ate about 8oz. and got sick within half an hour and stayed sick for two days.

As with any food poisoning item, I lost my taste for cottage cheese. About ten years later, I was past my aversion and started buying it once in a while. My new favorite brand is Breakstone small curd. Yikes! Close call. Thanks for the heads up.
