(1,742 posts)18. This isn't a free speech issue - professor has gone
off the deep end academically. Would the university allow a professor to teach that the world is flat, that ebola is nothing more than a common cold, creationism (which may appear at Florida State Un.), fund a search for living long extinct animals or allow each students to make up the course and grades that they want instead of what is listed in the catelog? As noted, it will get aid workers, children and Americans and others killed. The only excuse would be that the professor is teaching a course on "conspiracies" and this is just another example.
