They *GAVE UP* Gaza territory to make it Palestinian property. The blockade exists because Hamas is still the government and is still considered a terror threat.

So what did the Palestinians do with it? Turn into a terroristic property with intention to destroy Israel.

Gaza had been launching rockets (and they are still launching rockets - last launch 4 days ago) towards Israel, before Israel decided that it was enough of their idiocy and pummeled them down.

Terror tunnels still exist, and they were recently reinforced with the same construction material that was supposed to be for rebuilding Gaza.
