He tried to get along with them, but he definitely wasn't a fan. He mentioned their anti-semitic "jokes" and some other things he didn't like during the HBO series.

Brennan was later shocked that the investigator didn't know about the Watkins' years-old collection of expensive watches. It was something that they had clearly tried to conceal from him during the interviews.

"Q" often included pics of expensive watches and pens with his posts, both of which those guys had collected as a hobby for years.

Brennan seemed like a pretty good guy. He probably "grew up" finally, but I'm not totally sure how he behaved when he was younger.
