14. Why divide Democrats?
Wed Nov 10, 2021, 06:45 PM
Nov 2021

Who the heck is the Left? Is Laurence Tribe a member of the Left? Is Adam Schiff a member of the Left? Are all of those former prosecutors who signed a letter urging urgency the Left? I think it serves no purpose to rank Democrats. It serves no purpose to pit Democrats against one another. How about we stick to the issue without name calling?

Congress has the power of inherent contempt. Congress can throw people in jail and it doesn't have to be in a cell in the Capitol basement.

I am a Democrat who feels that a decision on criminal contempt should have been made by now. Maybe other Democrats feel otherwise, so be it, they are entitled to their opinion.
