In reply to the discussion: OK, boomers; look at what we've left for our grandkids [View all]KPN
(15,645 posts)23. I'm a boomer. My loan experience is almost identical to
the author of the OP. The Boomer generation has had leadership for 30 years now. That was plenty of time to see the flaws in our tax and economic policy and, as a group correct them. As a cohort group, the largest cohort group I might add, we did not do that. Rather things spiraled further out of control creating greater imbalance and inequity over that timeframe.
I dont see your point. There is nothing personal about this. It is just fact. Boomers have been in charge over the majority of the time in which capitalism ran amuck. As a boomer, I have been furious about the trend for 30 years. It hasnt really changed. Sorry to disagree, but its not BS.

What's the hell is up? Well, it happened on our watch. Mine anyway -- I'm a boomer.

+1. Not this Boomer, and I was horrified when Dutch, The Gipper won in 1980.

Excellent opinion piece. If you're a DU'er and a boomer, don't take it personally. It's not

And there are x-ers and y-ers and z-ers and mill-ers who have voted for Trump, or not voted.

OTOH, people who were liberal in their youth turned reactionary when they got older.
