All the heart wrenching stories in the world will not overcome the obscene, religious-like obsession with guns and the Second Amendment that rules this sick country. I am completely disgusted with our society and its valuation of gun rights over human life.

The horrible, brutal truth is that politicians either agree that guns rights triumph over everything or just don't have the guts to vote against those who insist it is their God-given right to own any firearm in existence and that any limit on guns and bullets means an end to freedom.
