Jeremy Scahill is totally right. I had just seen that same "RAND PAUL!" response directed at someone else in a different thread and couldn't resist busting out the snark here.

Especially living in the South, and seeing what an abject failure the DCCC strategy of "not quite as right-wing as the Republican" has been, I think it's all about the populism--and about not being satisfied with whatever pathetic excuse for a candidate is anointed to fail in yet another woefully-funded and even-more-woefully-messaged campaign.
