49. Your vitriolic disagreement with him disallows his rejoining his old party. It's not productive.

I despised "by any means necessary" DWS, but I still voted for Hillary; yet, every day of my life I can see how blacks must demand liberals in general, and whites in particular in this party, stop the nicey-nicey bullshit crap lip service -- that two-faced bullshit from the Bill Clinton days, well documented in The New Jim Crow -- and actually step up to specifically remedy patterns of racial discrimination on blacks' advancement. The law all the way up to the Supreme Court has settled that it's now up to The People to solve black people's problems, however that goes.

Why should black kids get criminalized about their appearance in public schools. Why should a president's fist bump be announced as "terrorist." Why should stop and frisk be the m.o. of police. Why should "mistaken" SWATS and highway stop deaths be endured with no cost to stupid-at-best uniformed "guards" of whatever.

Seriously.

Blacks in America are subject to official state terrorism. Yeah, I said it.

I hate the criminalized state of 20% of Americans way more than the uncomfortable gun stand of this well known, well respected member of the black celebrity class.

You don't like it? Fine. I don't care how outraged you are about Mike's position. My position is that the rest of us have to support however blacks want to stop their criminalization. Extreme times for blacks (which seem to come and go with high regularity) call for their extreme readiness.

You can call Killer Mike every damned name in the book, hate him all you want, but his right to life, liberty and justice (for all) are the spirit of his message on Bill Maher, however you want to exclude him with your democratic purity.

I wish I could see the part of the show with his guest Robert Reich. BigmanPigman May 2018 #2
Killer Mike hogged the time away from Reich. SunSeeker May 2018 #6
I'll watch it tomorrow. Thanks! BigmanPigman May 2018 #7
Killer Mike ... ugh, he mindlessly believes propaganda. betsuni May 2018 #8

I gave up on Maher's show some time back. Paladin May 2018 #10
Killer Mike had some points about the disarming of blacks Martin Eden May 2018 #11
Well stated. (nt) Paladin May 2018 #12
I thought Maher laughed in Hunter's face on almost every issue, as did the audience. Hoyt May 2018 #51
Laughing in his face is derision, not refutation Martin Eden May 2018 #53
Waste of time to refute a white wing racist. Besides, almost anyone that watches Maher's show Hoyt May 2018 #54
It's a bigger waste of time having him on the show Martin Eden May 2018 #55
Reich and I support everything Killer Mike had to say, which liberal whites very much need to hear. ancianita May 2018 #13
What about Mike's stated need for assault weapons ... Martin Eden May 2018 #14
Yep, I agree with that, too. Because he's right: ALL guns are for assault, differing only by degree. ancianita May 2018 #22
No, a single action hunting rifle differs massively from an AR SunSeeker May 2018 #30
You and Killer Mike side with the NRA. You are entitled to your views. Martin Eden May 2018 #38
Don't agree with you, yet understand where he's coming from about whose lives hang in the balance. ancianita May 2018 #43
Understand where Mike's coming from? Martin Eden May 2018 #48
No. You get it. As I said below, until 20% of this criminalized citizenry feel safer, I support ancianita May 2018 #50
Thank you. I agree with you. n/t LittleGirl May 2018 #17
Really? You agree with voting 3rd party in the GE like Killer Mike did?! SunSeeker May 2018 #21
No, hell no. I voted for Hillary like most of the people on this board. LittleGirl May 2018 #23
No. Not that. But by everything I mean everything on the gun issue. ancianita May 2018 #24
We are certainly not in agreement on the "gun issue." nt SunSeeker May 2018 #26
Mikes's gun issue is inextricable to the race issue. Are you not in agreement on that connection? ancianita May 2018 #28
I agree that all law must be enforced without racial discrimination. SunSeeker May 2018 #31
When they're outlawed, guess which race will still have access to them. Reality. He gets it. ancianita May 2018 #33
Ah, so why outlaw anything, right? SunSeeker May 2018 #36
Right. Except, for blacks, they have, and he has every reason to think they would again. ancianita May 2018 #42
That old NRA mantra that gun control only stops good people is bullshit. SunSeeker May 2018 #44
Right. That's exactly what Mike is reminding blacks and liberal whites about. ancianita May 2018 #47
No, Killer Mike is mouthing bullshit NRA talking points. nt SunSeeker May 2018 #57
Knock off your grind. He speaks to causes for arming blacks, not NRA anything. Always has. ancianita May 2018 #58
Claiming gun control will only stop African Americans and good people from getting guns is NRA bull. SunSeeker May 2018 #59
OFFS, Reich did not agree with everything Killer Mike had to say. SunSeeker May 2018 #19
Right, he didn't, but he backed off on whitesplainin' and heard Killer Mike out. ancianita May 2018 #27
OFFS. Telling someone not to vote 3rd party in our system is not "whitesplaining." SunSeeker May 2018 #34
I didn't say what whitesplainin' is, so you can back off in telling me what I mean. ancianita May 2018 #35

Yup. And we're suffering from the incredible stupidity of those who voted 3rd party. SunSeeker May 2018 #25
He had the nomination theft as his reason, which was a pretty strong reason from his p.o.v. ancianita May 2018 #32
Even if there was "nomination theft" (there wasn't), how does that justify voting 3rd party? SunSeeker May 2018 #45
Your vitriolic disagreement with him disallows his rejoining his old party. It's not productive. ancianita May 2018 #49
No, Killer Mike's stupidity prevents him from "rejoining" the Democratic Party. nt SunSeeker May 2018 #56
