...but the operative part should be waking up in the morning.

Every time I wake up in the morning I realize I'm still alive and have more time for the bad times to pass.

And this too will pass, your daughter will heal and you'll find another car.

In time you may shake your head and suppress a laugh at how you went about surviving it all.

This is a pleasure of growing old, realizing as much.
