9. She sought non violent treatment of horses

That was the best thing I ever heard about her. Years ago I was watching an interview with Monty Roberts, the "Horse Whisperer" and he spoke candidly about how he grew up in a violent, toxic, dysfunctional environment and also around horses, and the conventional wisdom was that you have to beat horses into submission and he never believed that and developed non violent ways to train horses. Anyway in this show they mentioned how Queen Elizabeth was so enamored of his philosophy that she invited him to train the royal horses. That spoke to me what kind of human she was, royalty or not.
