23. I did Ozempic for about 3 months

And I did not like the way it made me feel. Dr switched me to Tresiba and did that for about a year. My A1C kept going up even with the addition of Humlog, I almost felt like a lost cause.

He then suggested Monjaro....

Take it for what it's worth since I'm just 1 example, but in 6 months time, my A1C went from a very scary 13 down to 5.4. I have lost close to 130 pounds....size 48 Jeans to 34 and I'm still losing.

I'm taking it along with a weekly dose of Tresiba. I take ZERO oral meds for my diabetes, just the 2 once a week injections. Dr wants me to keep taking the Humlog, but I'm not seeing a point to it with my blood sugars consistently in the 90-120 range. Monjaro has been a lifesaving miracle drug for me.

The only thing that upsets me are the Doctors prescribing it to people who are not diabetic and taking just for the weight loss causing a shortage of the medication. I've had to go a couple weeks without because of this.
