23. When we saw him, the shelter said he was an english setter, I went home that night and researched

His physicality and his personality fit the breed.

Someone gave him up in WV. That vet passed him (and his sister, she was up for adoption as well) to our welfare league.

I have a feeling he was supposed to be a hunting bird dog, and did a bad job.

Good for us!
